I admit it is difficult to contain my excitement over this special screening of Breaking Away taking place in S.L.O. The event is presented by Masi in conjunction with the Eroica California. It kicks off a weekend of celebrating cycling, with many different activities taking place, such as a vintage bicycle fair, a bicycle swap meet, a bicycle concours d’ elegance, and the Eroica ride on Sunday. I missed last years inaugural California edition, but this year, I plan on attending all the events, as well as riding the short course on Sunday. Details can be found on the Eroica California website, and rest assured, this will be a weekend to remember.
