The Chrome Lower Southside is a lighter weight version of the standard Southside. It is still made from oiled full-grain leather, but has quarters made from lightweight and breathable polyester. This makes the shoe much more appropriate for the type of weather we seem to be experiencing here in LA. The shoe has been exceptional in the extreme temperatures, providing a solid platform for everyday adventures. As with all Chrome shoes, the quality is supreme, meaning these should last for a very long time. I am a big fan of Chrome shoes, as their design is clean and functional. I like the look, and more importantly, the comfort.
