Lizards Skins are well known for their line of bar tape and grips, but their line of gloves also demands a bit of attention. The Aramus Classic gloves in black sheep skin leather are the ones I’ve been using, and they are fantastic. They have a bit of gel padding on the palms, an adjustable velcro closure strap, and best of all, finger pulls for easy removal. The finger pulls are of particular note as they are the best I’ve used. Getting these gloves off after a long, hot and sweaty ride is a breeze. The gloves are really comfortable on long rides, with no noticeable chafing of any sort. The padding is just right, and the sweat wipe on the thumb is positioned well. I ordered large and they fit well; over time, the leather shapes itself to your hands for an even better fit. The look of these gloves is most definitely classic, and, in addition to black, they can also be had in white and brown. Lizard Skins is looking to broaden its reach by expanding their line of products, and judging from the Aramus Classic gloves, they are making great strides in that direction.
