Looptworks is a company based in Portland, Oregon, that makes products out of excess material from the apparel manufacturing industry. The products range from iPad and laptop sleeves to t-shirts, hoodies and shirts. Most everything produced by Looptworks is a numbered and limited edition product, as once the supply of material runs out, they move on to something else. The products are produced as close as possible to the locale of the materials being used. The Luhu Tablet case for the iPad is one product I’ve had the chance to use. It is beautifully made and very unique. It fits the iPad perfectly, and provides the right amount of protection. The founding principles of Looptworks are a step in the right direction for manufacturing.
