Mother’s Day is this coming Sunday, May 8th, and this year it is also a day to celebrate the bicycle. The Los Angeles Bicycle Festival is coming to Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles for a day of art, music, food, and, of course, bicycles. This should be an excellent event, and I, for one, am looking forward to attending. That said, I am a father, so it’ll be up to my wife to decide how to spend the day. I’ll be dropping subtle hints all week in hopes of her choosing this event for at least a portion of the day. What better way to spend Mother’s Day than in the park with the kids… and bikes?
