Back to the late 80’s last night at the Palladium.
Hard to imagine Jane’s playing in DTLA at Scream in the Embassy Hotel in the same time period of the hair metal bands on the Strip. Two very different scenes happening at once.
Last nights show was remarkable.

A quick trip up to Lone Pine put the Sprinter to its first true off-road test. We wanted to get as close to the Tuttle Creek Trailhead as we could, and it involved navigating a seriously rutted dirt road. The van did great, and got us where we wanted to be be.

Might have been a 4 hour push to the valley through a pretty major snowstorm, but totally worth it to see Yosemite blanketed in snow.

The 1970 Mercedes C111 leaving the Petersen to begin its journey back to the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart. I loved the fact that the Field Van was perfectly parked as background for the shot. Two very different Mercedes, but both cut from the same cloth.

I always love walking up to the M5. Something about the way it sits makes me want to take endless photos of it. Good thing there’s a place for these photos on Instagram.

I’ve spied this little Triumph parked in a ground level garage in Pershing Square on multiple occasions. That seems to be its spot. If only cars could talk.

The stellar lineup of cars from the recently closed Andy Warhol exhibit at the Petersen. I’m going to miss seeing the Warhols with these cars.
